About

The Beatles Story, Albert Dock

The Beatles Story, Albert Dock is the world’s largest permanent exhibition purely devoted to the lives and times of The Beatles. The exhibition is located on the UNESCO World Heritage site at the Albert Dock and will guide you through the music, culture and story of the band that changed the world.

Join The Beatles on their journey; first conquering Liverpool, and then the world through immersive recreations of key locations from the band’s career including The Casbah Club, The Cavern Club, and Abbey Road Studios.

With information, imagery, memorabilia and video interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison and Yoko Ono, the Beatles Story, Albert Dock tells the story of the fab four.

The Beatles Story, Pier Head

The Beatles Story, Pier Head is the Beatles Story’s second site and is located in Merseytravel’s eye-catching Ferry Terminal Building. The Beatles Story, Pier Head offers two exhibitions and also a unique multimedia experience.

The British Invasion: How 1960s beat groups conquered America (at the Beatles Story, Pier Head)

The Beatles Story and The GRAMMY Museum present a new exhibition, The British Invasion: How 1960s beat groups conquered America. The new exhibition opens with previously unseen photographs and memorabilia.

Pattie Boyd: George, Eric and Me (at The Beatles Story, Pier Head)

A new exclusive photographic exhibition from Pattie Boyd, former wife of music legends George Harrison and Eric Clapton, has opened at The Beatles Story, Pier Head.

The former supermodel, who was the inspiration for hit songs ‘Something’, ‘Layla’ and ‘Wonderful Tonight’ has selected the intimate portraits from her personal archives and, through Pattie’s lens, they provide an insight into her life with two musical icons. The exhibition features 57 original images and will be open to the public for six months, until Autumn 2016. It’s part of the Beatles Story ticket.

The Fab4 StoreTM

With two branches of the Fab4 Store, one on each site, you’ll be sure to find something to remind you of your visit. From t-shirts, CDs, posters and books to unique gifts and limited edition merchandise, you'll be sure to find that perfect gift.

The Fab4 CafeTM

A Fab4 Cafe is situated at both sites and are open all year round. The perfect place to relax and re-fuel after your visit to the attraction. With free Wi-Fi, it is also the ideal place for a business meeting.
