Princes Dock

Home to the Liverpool Cruise Terminal, visitors to Princes Dock can admire the impressive liners as they arrive in the city then enjoy a drink or meal in one of the fantastic eateries - Cargo, the Malmaison Brasserie, Plaza Brasserie, Mal Bar, Lounge Bar or Bean Coffee. There is an on-site convenience store, children’s nursery and extensive car parking on-site too.

Princes Dock forms part of Liverpool Waters which is home to Route 66 outdoor cinema, Liverpool Dive Centre, Titanic Hotel and large-scale outdoor events such as Sound City. More information these can be found at www.liverpoolwaters.co.uk

Princes Dock itself was built by John Foster in 1810-21 to an outline design by John Rennie, Princes Dock was named after the Prince Regent, later George IV. It adjoins the Liverpool World Heritage Site and has unrivalled views of the mouth of the River across to New Brighton. Visitors can sit and enjoy the tranquil environment whilst watching the canal boats slowly pass though the Leeds-Liverpool canal link or enjoy the stunning river views and watch the sea vessels and ferries pass by.

To check which cruise liners will be visiting the city, be sure to keep up to date with the cruise calendar. Announcements regarding the arrival of Royal Navy vessels will be released in the press a week or so before they arrive in Liverpool.
