Voted by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the ‘World's 50 Coolest Hotels’, Hope Street Hotel was built and designed by an independent Liverpool team. Renovated from the shell of a Venetian style warehouse in Liverpool’s fashionable Georgian district, the hotel is set between the city's two cathedrals; surrounded by its universities, theatres and concert hall.
Hope Street Hotel has 89 rooms (9 of them suites) with stunning views over the city. The style is contemporary and chic, with a natural, organic feel. The simplicity of the design emphasises the original Victorian interior of pitch pine beams, brick walls and iron pillars and was described by The Sunday Times as ‘Isambard Kingdom Brunel meets Carrie Bradshaw’. Every room has real wood floors (with under floor heating), the beds are draped in luscious white Egyptian cotton. All rooms include REN toiletries, Pellegrino water and complimentary Wifi.
Chef Paul Askew has created one of the city's leading restaurants, The London Carriage Works which has enjoyed universal praise - the Harden’s Guide naming it one of the top 10 restaurants outside London, and 2 AA Rosettes in 2010.
